Papillodema although rare is not an uncommon feature. Here we report a case of florid papillodema in a patient of chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy, discuss the underlying mechanisms in relation to cerebrospinal fluid pressure and protein content and response to intravenous immunoglobulins.
