AB  - Bilateral sternalis muscles were observed during dissection of the thoraco-abdominal region of a male cadaver. A full description of the muscles, as well as their attachments and innervations were reported. A brief review of the existing literature, regarding the nomenclature, incidence, attachments, innervations and clinical relevance of the sternalis muscle, is also presented.
